Hi, my name is Farhan, and I’m the organiser of Acacia
Badminton Club.
The club originally started as a small group of friends
playing casually at the YMCA. After its closure, we
struggled to find a consistent place to play. That
challenge inspired me to establish Acacia Badminton,
with the goal of bringing the community together and
reigniting people’s passion for the sport.
Sessions
We play weekly session on Saturday from 2-4pm at
Beaumont School. I chose Beaumont as the courts are by
far and away the best I've seen or played on.Tournaments
We organize regular tournaments for players to
showcase their abilities and compete in a friendly
environment.Community
We aim to create an inclusive, welcoming environment
where players of all ages and skill levels can
connect, grow, and enjoy the game together. Whether
you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, the
club offers a space to meet new people, stay active,
and be part of something supportive and social. We
believe badminton can bring people together, and we're
proud to help foster that sense of belonging.
